Western Colorado University

Western Colorado University (Western) is a public four year liberal arts college established in Gunnison, Colorado in 1901. It has a student body of 2,058 student and has a 17:1 student to faculty ratio.

Western brings to their B.A. in Environment and Sustainability degree track to the RSC community.
​
​As well, Western offers a Master in Environmental Management (MEM) degree which adds a 3+2 component to partnering universities in the RSC community. This allows students to complete 3 years of undergraduate studies at their partner university and complete their Senior year and one additional year at Western and complete their undergraduate and MEM degree in 5 years!
